OpenScape Business S is a server-based "All-In-One" UC appliance which supports up to 500 IP subscribers and IP (SIP) connection public WAN. It can be used in conjunction with the Unify X1 to X8 systems, but is also designed as a stand-alone solution for the Linux (Novell SLES) operating system and can be operated either on a physical server or on virtual machines with VMware vSphere. OpenScape Business S can be networked with an OpenScape Business X1, X3, X5 or X8 as gateway for ISDN or anlog trunks or TDM / analog devices, but really comes into its own as or used as a SIP only solution.mxSlx
